The Whidbey Island Harvest Festival, which was scheduled for Oct. 2 and 3, has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

The event was in the process of being planned by the Langley Chamber of Commerce.

“We regret this is necessary, but the public’s safety and health is our first concern,” the chamber stated in an announcement Sept. 13. The family-friendly event is being postponed until next fall.
