“Barn Aid 2000 presents an afternoon with the short story master O. Henry on Sunday, March 19, 2:30 p.m. in the historic 1904 barn at Whidbey Island Greenbank Farm. Eric L. Foxman, professional storyteller and performer will bring to life three O. Henry short stories. The stories are appropriate for children from grade five through adult.Suggested Donation is $8 for adults, $6.50 seniors, $5 students. Refreshments will include cakes by John Auburn sold by the slice, and Greenbank Farm wines sold by the glass. All proceeds will support the Whidbey Island Greenbank Farm Barn Aid 2000 fund to repair and improve the historic barns on the farm. Henry wrote.Eric L. Foxman is an accomplished storyteller and performer. He is performing on Whidbey Island for the first time after successful tours in Oregon, British Columbia, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Mexico, and Washington, DC. This is his second, and all-new, O. Henry tour in the Northwest.Foxman has both acted and directed in community theater, including performances of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor, and Thor With Angelsand A Sleep of Prisoners by Christopher Fry.Foxman is donating his performance to Greenbank Farm in support of Barn Aid 2000. “
