The PAWZ 5K run/walk is returning to Langley for a third year this Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Known for its inclusion of pets of all sorts, the race course winds through the Village by the Sea at 9 a.m. Monday, May 25.
Prizes are awarded to the top 10 winners, and all participants get a race T-shirt and goody bag for dogs.
Race fees go toward the Happy Hounds 4-H club and Good Cheer Pet Food Bank.
Registration costs $25 ($15 for the children’s run) and may be completed online at pawzbythesea.com or the day of the race from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
