Payless Foods donates $500 to South Whidbey Elementary School

Suzanne Haugen, kindergarten teacher at South Whidbey Elementary School, received a $500 donation for her classroom through Payless Foods, according to a recent school district newsletter.

Suzanne Haugen, kindergarten teacher at South Whidbey Elementary School, received a $500 donation for her classroom through Payless Foods, according to a recent school district newsletter.

The donation was made through the Adopt-A-Classroom website.

Adopt-A-Classroom is a national organization through which community members and businesses may donate to teachers and their classrooms.

Haugen will use the funds to purchase materials to support mathematics and literacy.
