KOMO Radio talk-show host John Carlson will headline the South Whidbey Republican Women’s annual membership event, “Spring into Action,” later this month in Bayview.

The event is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.

In addition to his current radio program, Carlson is a frequent commentator on national television and radio shows and a former gubernatorial candidate in Washington.

The evening will include hors d’oeuvre and beverages, and organizers said guests need not be members of the South Whidbey Republican Women to attend. Men are welcome, too.
