The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island will host a Pianothon, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20 at the 20103 Highway 525 in Freeland.

The celebration will mark the congregation’s acquisition of a new grand piano. Nine Whidbey Island pianists — Nola Allen, Heidi Hoelting, David Locke, Porter Matteson, Robert Marsanyi, Eileen Soskin, and Sheila Weidendorf — are scheduled to perform.
