The South Whidbey School District Board of Directors will convene tonight for a workshop meeting to discuss four policies.

The board will discuss policies on student improvement, program evaluations, transportation, special transportation and policies concerning the use of reasonable force and procedures.

The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. in a new location at the South Whidbey Elementary School community room at 5380 Maxwelton Road, Langley.

Homecoming kicks off at SWHS

South Whidbey High School began its week-long celebration for homecoming with this year’s theme “Tour Around the World.” The week will conclude with a football game against Archbishop Murphy on Friday night at 7 p.m. and the homecoming dance Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Other activities include dress-up days, outdoor games, and girls soccer and volleyball matches.
