SHERIFF’S REPORT | A suspected pot grow, a neighbor who likes to give the finger and a boat chasing orcas

Thursday, August 13 10:53 a.m. — A caller in Clinton advised she just saw her husband close a storage shed and she saw a female inside. The caller thinks she may be locked inside and that they’ve been living there.

10:53 a.m. — A caller in Clinton advised she just saw her husband close a storage shed and she saw a female inside. The caller thinks she may be locked inside and that they’ve been living there.

10:59 a.m. — A caller at Kens Korner in Clinton reported subjects breaking into parts of the mall. She said she found a bag of needles too.

11 a.m. — A caller on Dorsey Drive in Freeland reported an illegal marijuana grow nearby. The odor is obnoxious.

11:09 a.m. — A caller on East Harbor Road in Freeland asked for a call from police about a neighbor who continually flips her off.

1:25 p.m. — A caller on Captain Vancouver Drive in Langley said a boy told his dad he was a problem solver and that the father is a problem. The caller believes it’s a death threat.

6:33 p.m. — A caller at Freeland Hall in Freeland advised homeless subjects are living on county property on the bluff nearby; they are chipping away at the bluff and will probably cause problems.

1:01 p.m. — A caller on Soundview Drive in Langley said someone got into her house last night and stole all the food from her refrigerator.

5:30 p.m. — A caller at Bush Point said people in a blue fishing boat with white trim were very close to shore and were cutting fishing lines.

 

Monday, August 17

11:04 p.m. — A caller on Bounty Loop in Freeland states a male came onto the property and was yelling about “killing anyone.” He left on a bicycle and was southbound on Mutiny Bay Road.

 

Tuesday, August 18

5:34 a.m. — A caller in Freeland advised a man was laying on Newman Road, between Double Bluff and Main; he’s conscious, but has a wound on his head.

 

Wednesday, August 19

9:39 a.m. — A caller on Spyglass Drive at Bush Point said three or four boats have “chased down” several orca whales and are observing them very closely.

7:54 p.m. — A caller on Fish Road in Freeland reported a couple who live nearby on Cameron Road are fighting. The male is pushing the woman and screaming.
