The following are 9-1-1 reports from the Island County Sheriff’s Office, South Precinct.
Friday, May 29
12:32 p.m. — A caller on Mutiny Bay Road in Freeland reported a 25-foot house trailer abandoned in the bushes near the boat ramp. It’s the same one that was parked on Fish Road weeks before.
1:31 p.m. — A caller on Saratoga Road in Langley said a Jack Russell terrier tried to attack him.
5:44 p.m. — A Parkwood Drive and Lone Lake Road in Clinton caller reported a motorcycle versus child on a bicycle accident. The caller said the adult female on the motorcycle may be injured, but the child seems OK.
7:59 p.m. — A caller on Beach Drive in Freeland reported a male who fell out of a kayak 20 minutes ago. He is only wearing swim trunks and a T-shirt.
8:09 p.m. — A San Juan Avenue caller in Clinton said a family is fist fighting all over the place; kids are involved. Dispatcher’s note: A second caller advised there is a couple fighting with their child, and that their car rolled into his mailbox.
Saturday, May 30
6:30 a.m. — A caller on Highway 525 in Freeland reported a loose cow walking south on the highway. The caller is knocking on doors to find the owner, but no luck so far.
8:12 a.m. — A caller on Gedney View Lane in Clinton said two pit bulls and a Boston bull are loose in the neighborhood. They appear to be traveling in a pack and are “out to attack” as they attacked her dog.
11:06 a.m. — A business at Ken’s Korner said a transient male was arrested this morning, and the caller just located an axe handle hidden behind a magazine rack outside. The caller is concerned the incidents may be related.
5:39 p.m. — A caller at the Clinton Ferry Terminal said the ferry has been blasting its horn for two minutes straight. She said she’s never seen that happen before.
Sunday, May 31
12:51 a.m. — A caller on Wilson Place in Clinton is in a parked car at a church plot and another male is outside yelling and trying to fight him. The caller says the man is angry about him parking there.
12:55 a.m. — A 9-1-1 hangup from Nautilus Road in Freeland. The caller said, “I lied,” then pressed a button and disconnected.
