Shutdown delays Poseidon meeting

Due to the government shutdown, Navy officials have postponed a public meeting concerning the draft Environmental Impact Statement for the home basing of P-8A aircraft. The meeting was originally scheduled for Oct. 8 at Oak Harbor High School. The Navy is expected to reschedule the meeting once the government shutdown is over, and officials will notify the public once the new date is known.
