Whidbey Island Slow Food will hold elections for chairman, vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer at the upcoming meeting on Monday, Feb. 28.

Slow Food USA has a young, growing chapter on Whidbey Island and is nearing its first birthday. The group promotes growing, cooking and eating delicious and healthful food and food products.

The group will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28 at the Coupeville Library.
