South End churches announce Sunday service topics

Churches on South Whidbey announce the topics for services, worship and meetings coming soon.

Christian Science to examine atonement

“Question. – Is there more than one God or Principle?

“Answer. There is not. Principle and its idea is one, and this one is God, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Being, and His reflection is man and the universe.

“If Truth is overcoming error in your daily walk and conversation, you can finally say, ‘I have fought a good fight … I have kept the faith,’ because you are a better man. This is having our part in the at-one-ment with Truth and Love,” (“Science and Health”).

If you have been puzzled by the expectations and demands of atonement, come to an exploration of this topic on Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Christian Science Church.

Services begin at 10:30 a.m. at 15910 Highway 525, just north of Bayview and across from Useless Bay Road. Everyone is welcome.

Barbara Dunn will provide the music and Sam Glass with be the platform assistant.

All are welcome. The service is 10 a.m. Sunday at Unity’s church at 5671 Crawford Road.
