Longtime Whidbey residents John Goertzel and Sue Ellen White recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a celebration gathering family and a great many friends at Clinton Hall.

The couple were married on Whidbey on Oct. 14, 1984.

They are grateful to their three children and their families, especially Elizabeth Goertzel, for their work in hosting the event.
