Television’s “SuperNanny” show has been on South Whidbey this week, working with and filming an undisclosed Clinton family with three children.

Meanwhile, the super nanny herself, Jo Frost, was seen riding the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry mid-morning today in her trademark London taxi.

Scenes for the show will be filmed aboard a ferry, Joy Goldenberg, Washington State Ferries spokeswoman, confirmed today.

“Yes, they have contacted us and we have made the arrangements,” Goldenberg said, but she did not reveal when the filming would take place.

Maurlee’s Take-Out and Catering in Langley is providing one meal a day for the 20-member crew of the popular ABC-TV show on location in the South End.

Maurlee’s co-owner Maureen Cooke said Thursday that the crew arrived on Tuesday and is scheduled to leave early next week.

Cooke said she and her partner, Leah Eddington, deliver meals each day at different times, but she promised the producers that she wouldn’t reveal the destination.

“It’s a tremendous pleasure having to feed all these people,” Cooke said Thursday. “What an opportunity.”

Maurlee’s has arranged to deliver meals featuring lasagna, chicken, homemade meatloaf, roast turkey, roast-beef sandwiches and chicken piccata.

Cooke said that as of Thursday, she hadn’t met Frost, the Englishwoman who stars in the show. Frost is staying on the South End at another undisclosed location.

“If she comes in for a burger, I said I’d make sure no fuss was made,” Cooke said.

“SuperNanny” works with families to help modify disruptive behavior involving children. Families are chosen based on videos submitted to producers.

On the show, Frost arrives in her London taxi and, using common-sense techniques, works with the children and their parents to correct behavior detrimental to family life.

How was Maurlee’s selected for the catering job?

“They Googled us,” Cooke said. She said producers contacted two other local caterers first.

“They said they were too busy,” Cooke said. “We said we’d be happy to accommodate you.”

She said she expects the Clinton episode of the show won’t be aired for several months.
