Sno-Isle Libraries has set up extra computers dedicated to tax season at branches throughout Island and Snohomish counties, including the Freeland and Oak Harbor libraries.

The library system will also have free, one-on-one assistance with individual federal tax returns through the AARP Tax-Aide program at the libraries in Coupeville and Oak Harbor.  Priority is given to those age

60 and over; AARP membership is not required.

IRS tax forms and instructions are available at all Sno-Isle libraries and can be printed from library computers for free. Sno-Isle Libraries has ordered all the common IRS forms and will make them available as soon as they arrive from the IRS.

Sno-Isle officials said that some forms have been delayed by the IRS and won’t arrive until late February.
