The following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:

Wednesday, June 14

At 12:38 p.m., a caller at a Pioneer Way bank reported that a woman came in and said that if she doesn’t get a Rubik’s Cube then someone will rob the bank. There were no reports of a bank robbery that day.

At 3:20 p.m., a caller reported that a homeless person threw a rock at an empty building on Highway 20 and broke a window.

At 9:45 p.m., a woman on North Oak Harbor Street reported that a group of teenagers didn’t do anything wrong but looked like they were up to no good.

Friday, June 16

At 8:12 a.m., a caller reported that a woman was lying in her doorway undressed and talking to her dog.

At 3:06 p.m., a resident reported that a large group of teenagers were fighting in Windjammer Park.

At 7:36 p.m., a caller reported that teenagers dressed in hoodies were throwing trash into the lagoon at Windjammer Park.

Saturday, June 17

At 8:05 a.m., a resident reported finding a body in the grass along the highway. It was unclear if the person was alive.

At 8:05 a.m., an employee at a Highway 20 restaurant reported that an RV going through the drive-thru struck the building.

At 9:55 a.m., a caller reported finding a bag filled with microphones at Windjammer Park.

At 2:41 p.m., a caller reported that a man in a hoodie was carrying a hatchet in a store on Highway 20.

At 4:57 p.m., a caller reported that a man took photos of kids at the marina and refused to delete them, saying it was his First Amendment right.

At 6:32 p.m., a caller reported that four teenagers were throwing watermelon at the wall of the Walmart loading dock.

At 9:17 p.m., a resident reported that a group of homeless people was dragging a camper through a field off Downfield Way.
