Whidbey Audubon goes looking for owls

Whidbey Audubon will take an owling field trip Saturday, Feb. 25.

Whidbey Audubon will take an owling field trip Saturday, Feb. 25.

Whidbey is home to six species of owls and occasionally visited by others. Members should bring flashlights, binoculars, scopes and keen hearing, and also dress warm.

The group will meet in the Coupeville High School parking lot at 4:30 p.m.; the tour leader is Gary Piazzon (360-678-5131) and the public is welcome.
