WhidbeyHealth to start hall-style talks this month

WhidbeyHealth officials are kicking off a new round of town hall-style talks this month in Freeland.

WhidbeyHealth officials are kicking off a new round of town hall-style talks this month in Freeland.

The events will continue a series of 90-minute dialogues with the community that began earlier this year, according to the hospital.

Hospital CEO Geri Forbes will be joined by hospital district commissioners and members of the medical staff.

The talks will include updates on the inpatient wing building project, introductions to providers and information on various healthcare services. There will be time for questions and comments from the community.

The first meeting is 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 in the meeting room at Whidbey Telecom at 1651 Main St. in Freeland.

An Oak Harbor town hall talk is 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Oak Harbor Yacht Club, 1301 S.E. Catalina Drive, Oak Harbor.

A Central Whidbey meeting is 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Coupeville branch of Sno-Isle Libraries, 788 N.W. Alexander St., Coupeville.
