Yurt skylight taken from Langley merchant

Two well-known Langley merchants who annually construct a yurt near their First Street business may have to delay or forgo those plans this year.

According to Fred and Sharon Lundahl, the skylight that makes up the top-most portion of the roof was taken from the parking lot of their shop, Music for the Eyes, on Saturday evening.

“To the woman and her son driving a light blue/lavender Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on First Street in Langley at 7 p.m. Saturday evening: The huge 4-foot-diameter round plexiglass skylight which you two took … is not a giveaway item,” wrote the Lundahls, in an email to The Record.

Rather, they said it’s a crucial component of the structure, which they assemble every year as an educational exhibit. The Lundahls are asking that it be returned.

Anyone with information about the missing piece is asked to call the Lundahls at 360-221-4525 or email them at music
