Alvina Long

Alvina (Lott) Long, longtime resident of South Whidbey and more recently of Sekiu/Forks, passed away from natural causes in St. David, Ariz. on June 6, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin (Buzz) Becker, Doretta Watrous, husband Wally Lott, stepson W.D. Lott and grandsons Kelly Wiley and Wade Leese, sister the Reverend Ruby Rose Becker.

Alvina is survived by her loving husband Vern Long of Sekiu/Forks; stepfather Kenneth Watrous of Oregon; daughters Sandy (Lott) Clarke (Walter), Debi Hughes (Bill); Suzi Leese Macanulty (Bob Smith); her son Rocky Skaggs (Marcella); grandchildren Dean del Rosario (Michelle), Alvina Wolf (Robert), Lani Brown (Bill), Lance Leese, Tia Yeakel, David Dewey Leese (Summer), Amber Hughes, Pheonix, Mac, Cody, and Rocky Skaggs Jr. She also has seven great-grandchildren; Michael Dean del Rosario, Cameron Leese, Zachary Redinus, Maxine and Jake Wolf, Jonathan and Jake Brown and Ava Rose Leese. She is also survived by a previous husband, David Skaggs, of eastern Washington.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. July 15, at American Legion Post 141 on South Whidbey.
