Brian Robert Chamberland

Brian Robert Chamberland was born in Los Angeles, Calif. on June 25, 1953, the son of Barbara Skone Chamberland and the late Lionel Chamberland.

He spent his childhood in Seattle and Kenmore. After graduating from Ingelmoor High School, he went to Juneau, Alaska, where he worked on fishing boats.

He married in 1976, and in 1977 returned to Washington and moved to Whidbey Island with his family. He was employed by Boeing for many years, working in fuel systems.

Brian loved geography, maps, U.S. History, photography and his favorite activity was riding his motorcycle or driving his Corvette on long road trips through the western states with his friend, Tom Elwonger, often exploring old railroad lines and tunnels. He died on Sept. 4 while on a trip in California.

Brian is survived by his mother; his son, Abraham (Michelle), his granddaughter, Lillian; his son, Tyrell; his brother, Philip (Deborah), his nieces, Jill and Katie; his sister, Elizabeth Knapp (Robert), his nephews, Paul and Robert Stephenson; his former wife, Elizabeth and several cousins.

A memorial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Snohomish Community Church, 13622 Dubuque Road, Snohomish, where he was an active member.

Remembrances may be given to the Snohomish Community Church for the missionaries, Kevin and Alina Beach. Brian will be greatly missed by his family, his many friends and coworkers.
