David Andrew Lundquist

David Andrew Lundquist, 66, of Coupeville died March 14, 2009 in Coupeville.

David was born Nov. 19, 1942 to Lloyd and Lucy (Dennis) Lundquist in Tacoma. The family then moved to Orcas Island, where David spent most of his youth. The family then moved to Whidbey Island in 1956 and David attended Langley High School.

After high school David went to work with a geodetic survey company and worked as a seaman for about five years. David then lived a full life throughout the Puget Sound area, coming back to live on Whidbey Island in 1988. David was a very active member of the House Of Prayer.

David enjoyed his nieces and nephews, his artwork and drawings in abstract. David will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his big heart, always being very complementary and his red Cadillac.

David is preceded in death by his mother Lucy Lundquist, father Lloyd Lundquist, brothers Dennis and Irving Lundquist and nephew Erik Lundquist.

David is survived by his sister Margaret Turner of Freeland; brother Gerry (Judy) Lundquist of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; sister-in-law Dorothy Lundquist of Orcas Island; four nephews, four great-nieces and five great-nephews and two great-great-nieces.
