Donna Peterson

Donna Kay ‘DK’ Peterson, 47, recently of Lynnwood, died peacefully on Nov. 29, 2012. Donna was born Nov. 20, 1965 in Everett. She graduated from South Whidbey High School where she was involved in the band and choir programs. She also was a member of the Rainbow Girls and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Clinton. She attended Edmonds Community College to carry on her music career, but her hearing disability prevented her from continuing.

Donna worked in the cosmetology field most of her life. Her last job was customer service for Zappos which she greatly enjoyed but had to discontinue because of her illness. Donna was always greatly admired for her outgoing, pleasant personality and her gift for making others feel that they truly mattered.

Donna is survived by many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Beatrice Peterson, father William Peterson, grandmother Jennie Ersbo, and grandparents William and Dorlesca Peterson.

Graveside Committal Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. for immediate family and close friends at Clinton Cemetery, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Pastor Mikkel Hustad will be officiating.
