Doris Badden Freeman, 89, passed quietly the morning of July 4, 2009, with her daughter by her side.

Doris was born Jan. 29, 1920 at Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where she later met and married David Everett Freeman, her husband of 54 years.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses, David and Joanne Freeman, Clayton and Ronda Freeman and Marcia and Walter Siring; her sister and brother-in-law, La Berta and Floyd Crum; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her zest for life and missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 10 at St. Augustine’s in-the-Woods in Freeland, with a reception following.
