Dorothea Grace Hall died May 19, 2008 at Whidbey General Hospital on May 19, 2008 at the age of 79.

She was born March 6, 1929 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Edwin G. and Ada (Watson) Capreau.

Dorothea was raised in San Gabriel, Los Angeles County and graduated from mark Kepple High School. She went to work for AT&T as a telephone operator for several years. She moved to Alhambra, Calif., to West Covina and then to Anaheim, where she began a career in real estate.

Dorothea moved back to West Covina, where she met her husband Frank Hall. They were married at an Old English Inn in Victoria, B.C. Frank had a son, Frank Jr., who lived on Whidbey and soon Dorothea and Frank moved to the Island, settling in to the Ledgewood development near Coupeville. Dorothea enjoyed collecting clocks, raising dogs and thrift store shopping.

Dorothea is survived by one son Jeffrey Goss and his partner Lorenzo Gonzalez of Anaheim, Calif. and by her special friends Mason, Cooper and Mikey.

Dorothea requested no formal funeral services be conducted. Cremation was held with private family inurnment to follow at a later date.
