Ed Farrington, 81, of Langley went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 23, 2011 following a battle with cancer.

He retired from the Navy serving in Korea and Seabees. His career included marshal of Langley, electrical contractor and other adventures.

He is survived by his wife June of 58 years; son Jay (Lois); daughter Fay; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother George (Barbara); and sister Dot (Bob) Whitmore.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at Newport Covenant Church, 12800 Coal Creek Parkway SE, Bellevue.
