Elsie Leonore Seelinger, 92, of Coupeville, went home to be with the Lord at 7:20 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2011.

She was born on May 12, 1918 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph and Opal Binkley.

Elsie worked most of her life as a beautician, and retired after moving to Whidbey Island in 1986, with her husband Phillip. Her passions in life were her family, cooking, gardening and travelling.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy, and is survived by her husband Phillip; sons Robert, David and Danny; along with six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 at Visser Funeral Home, 432 Third St., Langley. Any questions can be directed to the Visser Funeral Home at 221-6600.
