June Marrs passed away at Regency Memory Care Center in Oak Harbor,WA with her loving family at her side. June was born in Blanchard, WA to Clarence and Marvel Egelston. June attended school at Blanchard-Edison School until age 11. Her family then moved to Anacortes, WA where she finished her school years. It was in Anacortes that June met the love of her life, Merrill Marrs. They were married for 56 years. June was always known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others. At June’s house the coffee pot was always on and fresh cookies and candies were ready to be enjoyed.

June’s beloved Merrill preceded her in death in 2008. June’s sister, Ethel Thompson, also preceded her in death in 2007. June is survived by her brother Wayne (Janice) Egelston, brother-in-law Gary Marrs, sons Dale Marrs, Dennis (Liz) Marrs, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

June was laid to rest next to Merrill in Anacortes, WA at Grandview Cemetery.
