Karen Kay Freitas

Karen Kay Freitas, 62, of Clinton, died June 24, 2003, at her home.

She was born May 10, 1941, in Lewiston, Idaho, to Wallace and Eva Mae McPherson. She married Candido A. Freitas. She and her husband moved from Everett to Whidbey Island 35 years ago. She was a member of Langley Chapter 159 Order of Eastern Star and of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Clinton.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kim M. Fitzpatrick; a son, Scott A. Carver; a brother, William McPherson; and three grandchildren, Holly V. Carver, Cameron A. Carver and Jordan Carver.

Memorial services will be announced. Arrangements are by Visser Funeral Home, Langley.
