Karen Lynn Brannon

Karen Lynn Brannon, 53, passed away Oct. 28, 2006, at her home in Brookhaven in Langley.

She was born Feb. 1, 1953, in Aberdeen, a daughter of George and Marie Brannon.

She grew up in Brookings, Ore. Karen joined the Army after high school, and then later moved to New York, working for Exxon.

She loved her church, friends and was a caring and giving person willing to do anything for anyone. She loved animals, especially her cats.

She is survived by one sister, Linda Hall of Freeland; two nieces, Tracey McKinnis of Vancouver, Wash. and Sarah Hall Runkle of Oak Harbor; her favorite aunt and uncle, Ed and Allison Garity of Ocean City, Wash.; and numerous cousins. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 in the Brookhaven Dining Room in Langley.
