Lynn Morrison

Born Marilyn Mae Luckett on Aug. 7, 1926, Lynn Morrison moved to New York City in 1956 where she pursued a lucrative modeling career.

After moving to Langley, she worked at The Wayward Son, volunteered at Choochokam and worked as an occasional columnist for the South Whidbey Record.

She died Oct. 3, 2013 and leaves behind brother Jack; two sons, Michael and Mark; and two daughters, Eliza and Molly.

Remebrances can be made to Hedgebrook, a female writers retreat on Whidbey Island.
