Margaret Mary McIntire passed away peacefully at Careage of Whidbey on May 16, 2007. She was born in the spring of 1922 to Michael and Mary Sheehan in S.C. Utah. In 1952, Margaret met Frank McIntire.

The couple married and moved to California, where they lived and raised a family. Margaret’s husband preceded her in death in 1982. Later she moved to Whidbey Island to be near her daughter.

She is survived by her brother James Sheehan of Arizona; daughter Mary Sinanian of Clinton; sons Frank McIntire of California and Mike McIntire of Nevada. She had eight grandchildren; Jeff, Carrie, Bo, Nick, Jason, Shanna, Kayla, Graden and Frank III (deceased); and five great-grandchildren, Trevin, Tayler, Leilani, Lea and Carmine.

She will be missed by all.

A family memorial is tentatively planned for June in Nevada.
