Our son and brother Reny “Boots” Wayne Starkweather joined his mother in heaven on Oct. 25, 2007.

Reny was born Dec. 12, 1956. He was a special individual who never let any of his life’s trials get him down.

He loved spending time with family and friends. Reny also enjoyed animals, music, fishing and camping at the ocean with his dad. He loved watching wrestling and was a loyal fan of the Seahawks and the Mariners, especially the Moose. Reny was a member of the Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club and took up shooting as a hobby.

Reny also had a great relationship with his employers and coworkers at the Freeland Cafe.

He touched many lives during his time on earth and will be sorely missed.

Reny was preceded in death by his mother, Sonya, and is survived by his father Fred (Joni); his brothers Freddy (Jodie) and John (Christy); his sister Sandra (Doug); and many nieces and nephews, and his cat Lola.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Cub at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
