Terry Lee Otey, born Nov. 21, 1946, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 5, 2013 at Providence Regional Hospital in Everett.

He is preceded in death by his mother Doris Otey. He is remembered by his father Wesley Otey and three sisters. Suzanne Delaughder, Deborah and Kirk Bussell, Denise and Don Harig and many nieces and nephews.

Terry attended Auburn High School, then graduated from Western Washington State College with a Political Science degree. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam war. Terry was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and unique personality. He loved his life on Whidbey Island. Terry was an avid golfer for many years and enjoyed spending time with his many friends.

His life was celebrated on Feb. 15 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.
