To the editor:

1. It’s now barely a month until first-half property taxes are due, yet Island County has yet to mail out tax statements. Why?  What’s going on?

2. The state DOT, at great public expense, put in so-called “rumble strips” along the shoulders of Highways 525 and 20. Now the state, also at great public expense, has covered most of those strips with asphalt.  Why?

3. What, if anything, is going on with the Dog House in Langley? Seems past time for an update.
