Boys golf battles wind, rain in four-team Cascade Conference meet

Archbishop Murphy won the meet with 352 total strokes over 15 holes. King’s placed second with 393 strokes. South Whidbey tallied 415 strokes for fourth place. Sultan took third place with 302 points.

South Whidbey’s Anton Klein led the Falcons with 76 strokes on the par-61 15 holes that were played. Ian Saunsaucie was the second South Whidbey golfer with 80 strokes. Jon Rasmussen finished with 84 strokes, followed by Zac Kelley’s 85 and Austin Drake’s 90.

King’s golfer Jack-Ryan O’Neal was the meet’s medalist with 64 strokes. Archbishop Murphy’s Ben Thacker finished in second place with 67 strokes.
