CPC trips up South Whidbey / Softball

Cedar Park Christian slipped past the host South Whidbey High School softball team 8-3 Thursday, April 11.

The Falcons committed only two errors but they were costly, according to coach Brad Jaeger, noting that “Chanel Sterba pitched a great game.”

The offense was led by Kayla Knauer, Melody Wilkie, Natalie Wilmoth, Maya Majestic, Arianna Briggs, Ari Marshall and Sterba, according to Jaeger.

“The girls played a fantastic game and will be able to build on it,” Jaeger said.

The Falcons (0-2, 3-5) play a non-league game at Bellevue Christian (1-8) at 4 p.m. Friday, April 12.
