South Whidbey failed to score against King’s High School at Woolsey Stadium as the Knights won 35-0 behind junior defensive end Roko Gucaka’s four solo tackles and 11 assists.

King’s senior quarterback Thomas Vincent ran for two scores and threw two touchdowns, including a 57-yard pass to Curtis Clauson.

Vincent led the Cascade Conference in passing with 2,584 yards and 41 touchdown passes last season. Clauson finished with a game-high11 receptions and 180 yards.

The loss dropped South Whidbey to 2-3 and continued King’s undefeated record, 5-0.
