South Whidbey Little League will hold tryouts for the 2012 season for boys and girls ages 8-14 this weekend.

It is the second of two opportunities for young sluggers to tryout for SWLL teams. Players are required to attend only one of the sessions. Tryouts are Saturday, Feb. 25 at South Whidbey Community Park.

Players must be registered to try out, and may do so at the field. Boys and girls ages 8-10 are scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m., and sluggers ages 11-14 showcase their skills from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Any 10-year-olds wishing to play for the major division should go to the later session.
