South Whidbey Little League will hold tryouts for the 2012 season for boys and girls ages 8-14 over the next two weekends.
Players are required to attend one of the tryout sessions. Tryouts are Saturday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 25 at South Whidbey Community Park.
Players must be registered to try out, and may do so at the field. Boys and girls ages 8-10 are scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m., and sluggers ages 11-14 showcase their skills from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Any 10-year-olds wishing to try out for the major division should come to the later session.
