Teen swimmer with Langley roots places 16th in triathlons

Christopher Anderson, 16, recently participated in his first two triathlons. With no wetsuit and a borrowed no-frills bike, he placed 16th overall at both the Lake Stevens Triathlon Sept. 6, and the Kirkland Triathlon Sept. 21.

Anderson, an Everett resident from Langley, is a year-round swimmer, competing at the local, state and regional level. He attends the Ocean Research College Academy (ORCA) program at Everett Community College.
