Whidbey Western Games Association hosted its 16th annual Whidbey Island O-Mok-See over the weekend at the fairgrounds in Langley.
Club President Chelsea McHugh said more than 80 riders competed in the horse-riding events and came from as far away as Idaho. Most of the riders were from Whidbey Island and surrounding areas in Skagit and Snohomish counties.
O-Mok-See competitions are based on horse agility, rider command and speed.
Results from the 2013 Whidbey Island O-Mok-See, organized by age division and listed from first place to sixth place are:
12 and under — Thandeka Brigham, Katie Polaski, Dylan Woodward, Cheyenne Taylor, Cameron Dahl and Sadie Travis.
13 to 18 — CJ Taylor, Dakota Billington, Madison McPhee, Emma Kellogg, Hunter Newman and Paige Farmer.
19 to 35 — Holly Fairbrook, Vanessa Polaski, Kevin Jackson, Kailei Roberts, Brittnie Davis and Rashel Penna.
36 to 46 — Stacy Hymas, Rob Beidler, Tracy Tiefisher, Julia DeMartini, Leatha Bennett and Carrie Taylor.
47 and over — Marty Perkins, Suzanne Damon, Tony Penna, Cliff Hagglund, Sonya Simmons and Steve Funden.
