Whidbey Crabs sweep Mountlake Terrace team

Ricky Muzzy was nearly flawless on the mound through the first three innings. He struck out eight Terrace batters, while hitting well against Terrace with three hits, including two triples in the opener.  Josiah Sergeant also had three hits. Connor Antich had two hits and also pitched in the shutout along with Max Divina.

In the second game, Muzzy’s batting prowess continued with two more hits including another triple. The game ended on a grand slam home run by Peter Jacobs over the left field fence. The Crabs tallied 11 hits in the final game. Kohl Hunter added a bases clearing triple to right field in the third inning. Charlie Patterson started the final game pitching two innings. He was relieved Kohl by Hunter, Houston Schmutz and Trenton Piehler, allowing only one run in the contest.

The Crabs travel to Mountlake Terrace on Wednesday for a game against  the Cascade 2 team. The Whidbey Crabs play in a Pony League with teams from the Mountlake Terrace Youth Athletic Association.
