KUDOS | South Whidbey Sound Off receives official charter from Toastmasters International

South Whidbey’s chapter of Toastmasters International, South Whidbey Sound Off, was officially chartered at a meeting Monday, Oct. 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.

South Whidbey’s chapter of Toastmasters International, South Whidbey Sound Off, was officially chartered at a meeting Monday, Oct. 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational group dedicated to assisting members improve their communication, leadership and public speaking skills.

There are currently 30 members of South Whidbey Sound Off and 175 chapters of Toastmasters International in Western Washington.

The group will have an open house at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland. There will be three speakers present at the open house as well as a meeting. Guests are invited to participate and observe.
