Rev. Jerry O’Neill from Trinity Lutheran Church will be the guest speaker at this year’s Remembrances of the Heart.

Now in its tenth year, the annual event — sponsored by Home Health Care & Hospice of Whidbey General Hospital and the WGH staff — is a memorial for and a celebration of the departed. The informational and inspirational program will include music, reflections, a guest speaker and a candlelight ritual.

This year’s program will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island in Freeland. The gathering will be casual, and refreshments will be provided.

Those who have experienced the loss of a loved one are invited to attend. Guests are welcome to bring a picture or memento in memory of a loved one for the remembrance table that will be set up during the time of gathering.
