The Langley Arts Commission has selected Whidbey Island bands Western Heroes and Krash Zen to perform at next year’s Langley Street Dance on July 8, 2017.

An ad hoc selection panel chose the two entertainers to split the three-hour-long event, and its selections were approved at a Langley City Council meeting on Monday, Dec. 19.

Both groups will enter into a contract with the city and abide by its terms and conditions. Western Heroes and Krash Zen will receive $1,000 for their performances.
