WICA brings Mueller report to stage Aug. 23

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts will present Robert Schenkkan’s “The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in Ten Acts” on Aug. 23.

This is a Mueller report play focusing on Donald Trump’s 10 instances of potential obstruction of justice, according to a press release.

Schenkkan has won a Pulitzer Prize as well as Tony and Writer’s Guild awards, and is an Emmy-nominated writer of stage, television and film.

On June 24, more than a million people tuned into the live-stream of a star-studded reading that included Annette Bening, Kevin Kline, John Lithgow, Jason Alexander, Gina Gershon, Joel Grey, Alyssa Milano, Kyra Sedgwick and Alfre Woodard, the press release states.

On June 25, Schenkkan gave WICA permission to produce the theatrical event.
