WICA Foundation awards funds for stage management internship

The Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Foundation recently granted $500 to Whidbey Island Center for the Arts (WICA) to fund a stage management intern for the upcoming 2015-16 theater series.

The Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Foundation recently granted $500 to Whidbey Island Center for the Arts (WICA) to fund a stage management intern for the upcoming 2015-16 theater series.

Charles Bieber, treasurer for the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Foundation, presented the check to WICA Programming and Production Director Deana Duncan.

Steve Ford was the recipient of the internship for the second consecutive year. Ford received the foundation’s initial stage management internship grant last year.

The WICA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization formed last year to enhance the long-term financial vitality of Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.
