League of Women Voters to host Whidbey mayors

All three of Whidbey’s mayors will address the League of Women Voters of Whidbey Island at the organization’s annual dinner next week.

The event begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 21 at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club, 2430 S.W. Fairway Lane in Oak Harbor. A business meeting is at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m.

After the meal, attendees will hear addresses from the island’s three mayors: Fred McCarthy, Langley; Nancy Conard, Coupeville; and Scott Dudley, Oak Harbor. A question and answer session will follow.
