Garden club seeks grant proposals from nonprofits

The South Whidbey Garden Club is seeking grant applications from non-profit organizations for projects that better the South End.

Projects should foster or demonstrate environmental stewardship, horticultural education or community beautification, according to a recent news release. Funds for this grant may be used as matching for larger funding proposals.

The maximum amount awarded is $500.
